WorkX Coworking ("WorkX", "we", "us") operates a coworking space at 336 G3 Main Blvd, Block G3 Phase 2, Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan, and the website at workx.pk. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have, including in relation to Google Analytics (GA4).

Some of this technical information is collected automatically by our own servers, and some (as described below) is collected by Google Analytics once it is enabled on our website.
As of the date of this policy, Google Analytics has not yet been activated on workx.pk. This section describes how it will operate once enabled, so our practices are transparent in advance. We will update the "last updated" date above when tracking goes live.
When enabled, WorkX intends to use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve our content, navigation and booking experience. GA4 will collect information such as:
Our commitment on personal data: we will not configure Google Analytics to collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or other directly identifying information. We will not enable Google Analytics' UserID feature or upload customer lists to Google, and we will not enable Google Signals or ad personalization features. Google Analytics data will be used in aggregate, statistical form to understand overall visitor trends, not to identify individual people.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use, or plan to use, the following categories:
Used today. A session cookie keeps you logged in to your WorkX account and remembers basic preferences. The website cannot function correctly without these.
Not currently set. Once Google Analytics (GA4) is enabled, Google will set firstparty cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<containerid>) to distinguish visitors and measure site usage, as described in the section above.
We do not use thirdparty advertising, retargeting or adtracking cookies on workx.pk.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings (usually found under Privacy or Security). Blocking cookies may affect some website functionality, such as staying logged in.
Google Analytics is provided and operated by Google LLC. When active, data collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google on our behalf, in addition to being subject to Google's own privacy practices. Google may process and store this data on servers located outside Pakistan. You can read Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and details of how Google Analytics processes data at support.google.com/analytics. WorkX does not control how Google itself uses this data beyond the analytics service we configure.
We keep personal information (such as enquiry, account and booking records) for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain business and financial records, and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Google Analytics data, once enabled, is retained by Google for a period we configure, up to a maximum set by Google (currently up to 14 months by default for user and eventlevel data, per Google's standard GA4 settings).
Passwords are stored using industrystandard hashing (never in plain text). Our website applies standard security measures including HTTPS, rate limiting and input sanitisation. Payment details are handled directly by our payment providers and are not stored on our servers.

The simplest way to opt out is to choose "Reject NonEssential" in our cookie banner or Cookie Settings, described below, this prevents analytics cookies from being set in the first place. You can also opt out independently of our banner by:
Note: Google Analytics itself has not yet been activated on workx.pk (see section 3), so no analytics data is currently collected regardless of your cookie choice. Our consent system is already live and will govern Google Analytics from the moment it is switched on.

Your choice is stored in your browser and applied automatically on future visits, no analytics cookies are set before you make a choice, or if you choose to reject them. You can change your preference at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page.
